Draped bust of Vologases III (?) to right, wearing tiara. Rev. ΓΜ The Tyche of Seleukeia seated left, holding palm frond in her left hand. Repatinated, otherwise, good very fine.


Although this is the regular reverse type for chalkoi at the mint of Seleukeia in these years (SE 438-445), the regular issues show the bust of the king to the left, as is the case on most Parthian coins. The style is very odd, perhaps indicating an imitative issue.
